William Ticehurst 1795 of Battle

I’m trying to find out some information on William Ticehurst who was born in Battle around 1795. He was a Royal Navy sea captain who in his later years worked for the East india company. He married Sarah Darby in Chelmsford, Essex in 1825, lived in Taverstock Hill in London up until the mid-1850s then moved to Oswestry in Shropshire where he lived until he died in 1880.

Any information on his birthyear, baptism or names of parents would be greatly appreciated.

Regards, Chris
