I offer Silk painting sessions over two or three days at my studio and C17 home in Battle.
No previous experience is required and I will work at a pace which suits you .
All materials, Organic Tea/Coffee and Biscuits and a light lunch are provided each day.
I will begin with a general introduction to the materials along with the basics of silk painting. Then gently help you to move forward to a truly enjoyable creative experience which I am sure will stay with you as you explore further in the future.From pictures to clothing the possibilities are yours to discover. Whilst in the studio you will start with a small practice piece as you first apply dye to fabric. Following this you will create a medium sized picture and finally a hemmed scarf. Once completed I will three hour steam fix your work and post it on to your desired address.
