Battle in East Sussex Town Guide

Viness & Variants

Been stuck for more than 30 years on my VINESS ancestry. Simply due to paucity of records, and the number of potential spelling variants. My 2xGGM Elizabeth VINESS was (allegedly) born in Birmingham, England, and her mother Ann Sophia VINESS likewise, although name density surveys suggest the name is most common in Worcestershire (as well as B’ham). My research page is http://creativegraces.net/genindex/vines.html and I would appreciate any feedback that may assist getting further insights to that part of my heritage. Responses can also be made on my research blog https://www.facebook.com/Birmingham-Branches-from-N-Z- [reveal tel] Thanks.
