In the mid 50’s to early 1960’s I attended the Primary school at Broad Oak, Brede, on Udimore Road. Around 12 month’s ago an old mate of mine sent a school photo of us kids taking part in school play or pageant. Among the names he listed of the “cast” was a Simon Vidler, (his birth date would have been around 1948-1950 by my guess. Broad Oak is not far from Battle so do you think Simon may be part of your family?
