I am trying to find relatives of my grandfather’s cousins Clifford, Clarice or Clarence Veness of East Sussex. Through their mother’s line we are related through the Ralph family who were gamekeeper’s at Ashburnham House. But any contacts to find living relatives would be much appreciated.

Clarence Ralph Veness married Ada Whitmarsh on July 6 1927, at Penhurst and had two issues Alan Veness (1928-2010) & Edna Rose Veness b 1935. Alan Married Joan Coprnford and had one daughter Sara.
