Battle Cricket Club is a community-focused cricket club deeply rooted in the historical cricket landscape of 1066 country. Battle Cricket Club is committed to fostering both the present and future of cricket, offering teams for various levels and ages.
The club fields two senior teams on Saturdays and a Friendly XI that plays midweek and longer Sunday matches. These teams welcome both local and touring sides, and the club itself participates in tours approximately every three years. Additionally, Battle Cricket Club places a strong emphasis on junior development, providing both softball and hardball training sessions. The club’s junior programme is supported by a team of highly qualified coaches ranging from Level 2 to Level 4, ensuring a comprehensive development environment for young players.
Battle Cricket Club is also actively involved in community wellbeing, supporting initiatives like the Sussex Cricket Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub, which offers resources and support through shared experiences in mental health.
