There are excellent views of the church on Google Earth which can be printed out.

Apologies! I failed to see the word ‘font’ in your message! I was born next door to the church in 1931. Put it down to my age!

    Hi Caroline,

Its been a while since I last had a look on the Battle Message board. I was just having a look and noticed that you mentioned you have a transcript of battle burials.

Is it possible that you could check for any Blackmans in the trancriptI know a few are buried there.

If this is not possible can you tell me where I could obtain a copy.

    Kind regards,

    Michael Blackman

    Hello Michael

There are 42 entries for Blackman burials at Battle cemetery.

You can buy a copy (book form or CD) from Hastings & Rother FHS www.hrfhs.org.uk. Click on Publications and then scroll down to Longley Publications. An order form is available to download from a link at the top of the publications page.

    Best wishes,
    Caroline
