Does Anyone Know this Mepham

I’m looking for a Mepham, male, born in approx 1819/1820 in Battle, first name on a lot of documentation such as daughters birth certificate and Royal Marine enlistment papers Job but I have found a death certificate for his son where he is named as Joseph. His wife was called Rachel, maiden name Clarke, again I’m not sure of the spelling. I have tried all the on-line stuff to try and find him but to no avail. He doesn’t even appear on any census as far as I can ascertain. Can anyone help me please otherwise I’m stuck in a dead end for this branch of the family.

    Hi Michelle,
Just chanced upon your message. I am descended from a Henry Mepham my gt grandfather and (with the assistance of Melida Sheffield) have traced my family tree back to 1700. Not sure if my tree will help you but it can be found at: http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/daveymax password grace.
    Good Luck, David
